SNPbrowser™ Software is a free tool enabling knowledge-guided selection of over 6 million TaqMan® or SNPlex™ System SNP Genotyping Assays for association and fine mapping studies. SNPs are visualized in their genomic context along with linkage disequilibrium maps and putative haplotype blocks derived from the analysis of over 3 million SNPs genotyped in several populations by the International HapMap project or Applied Biosystems. Search for SNPs using a wide variety of parameters, including SNP IDs, gene names, and chromosomal or microsatellite locations, and browse detailed SNP and gene information. SNPbrowser Software includes sophisticated wizards for rapid selection of tagging SNPs, and SNPs by density, to further simplify study design. The software also facilitates ordering of SNP genotyping assays through the Applied Biosystems online store. Features of SNPbrowser Software v3.5.3
